Innovative and emerging Canadian artist, Angie C, today announces the release of her upcoming single ‘Feel Me’, along with the release of an official FashionTech Music Video. The single, available July 19th 2019 via Rosa Rush Records, is written by Angie C (http://www.angiec.ca) and produced, engineered, and mixed by Trey Mills (http://www.treymills.com).
Angie C’s new single, ‘Queen’, was inspired by deep reflection on the topic of female confidence. “I remember there was a point very early in life, when I began to sensor my opinions and was too afraid to speak up, always walking the line of being a ‘Good Girl.’”
The digital age has opened many new doors with respect to music and music production. Nowadays, just about anyone can produce a track with simply a laptop and a pair of headphones. This revolution began with the advent of the so-called Digital Audio Workstation (or DAW for short).
Almost five years since their first collaboration, ‘Koh Samui’, Trance artist Mitchell Claxton (Velour Fog) and Singer-Songwriter Angie Coombes (Angie C) have teamed up once again to create their latest club banging Future House track, ‘Givin’ It Up’ featuring U.S. based saxophonist Lambert McGaughy.
Angie C is a Calgary-based singer-songwriter, musician, and neuroscientist who is pushing the boundaries of fashion and performance by creating a brainwave controlled LED dress for this year’s MakeFashion Wearable Technology Gala (http://www.makefashion.ca). The title of her project is “Musethereal” and is designed to show the interrelation between music and consciousness.
